Graddiant is a tool for creating gradients. Colors are selected and interpolated in the L*a*b* color space. The gradient itself is generated using a series of L*a*b* colors and their position along the gradient as the 4-dimensional control points of a Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline, otherwise known as NURBS.
Features:
- On devices with an Apple A8 processor or later, optionally output to Display P3 RGB, otherwise to sRGB
- Optionally dither images to minimize banding of colors
- Export gradients to a number of common destinations including AirDrop, Camera Roll, Mail, Messages, and social media platforms
- Gradients are exported as PNG images with configurable size as small as 16x1 pixels and as large as 4096x4096 pixels
- Exported sRGB PNG images are always 8 bits per pixel
- Exported Display P3 PNG images are 8 bits per pixel when dithered, 16 bits per pixel otherwise
